Vélingara is the last department of the Casamance natural region to welcome the #SmartCasaTour caravan. On site, the Senegal Services space is functional and ready to welcome users. The general director of ADIE, Cheikh Bakhoum, went to greet the prefect before proceeding with the mayor of Vélingara, Mamadou Oury Bailo Diallo, to the official inauguration of the site. The latter was full of praise for the space. An agreement signing ceremony was organized with all the five municipalities that make up the Vélingara department.

On the way back from the #Smartcasatour, the ADIE delegation made a detour to Goudiry to visit the Senegal Services area of ​​the department which is also ready for commissioning in the coming days. The prefect of the department and the local technical coordinator of the Pôle Emploi presented the concerns of the community in terms of digital technology, not without listing the many expectations of young people with regard to the space and especially the one-stop shop Pôle Emploi . The secretary general of the departmental council, for his part, returned to the long distance between Goudiry and Tamba, on one side and between Goudiry and Bakel on the other. From his point of view, it would be a sigh of relief for people to be able to have civil status papers or a criminal record, for example, without having to travel several dozen kilometers.
